We've all had a great time together during the eight years or so that we've been playing for numerous venues & functions - we've performed in Kent, Surrey & Essex as well as France and Holland; experiences we 'll all treasure.

QUIFF & THE SHADES offered the music of The Beatles, The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran, The Hollies, Buddy Holly, The Eagles, The Tremeloes, The Dave Clark Five and loads more - in fact, the best music of the 50s, 60s & 70s, all played live.
We started life as a tribute act to the early years of Cliff Richard & The Shadows but we soon introduced an increasing number of the more popular songs & memorable hits by other bands & singers to broaden our appeal. We still featured a few Cliff songs & Shads instrumentals however!
The band was the brainchild of rhythm guitarist Tony Dobson way back in 2009, after meeting some like-minded musicians at local guitar clubs. Over the years personnel have changed for various reasons, but the current line-up has been together for a few years now & has established a very loyal following.
We have played all over Kent, Surrey & Essex as well as in France & Holland.
